Sports Facilities
With the opening of South Hunsley's new sports centre the following fitness facilities are now available for students, staff and the community to use. Please use the menu to the left to see more information about each facility.

- Dance Studio
- Swimming Pool
- Climbing Wall
- 3G All Weather Pitch
- Conference Room
All of which are supported by changing facilities, cctv security coverage, full time staffing and booking services.
Previous Users
South Hunsley has many well established fitness clubs and groups that have used the facilities for many years. We appreciate that effectively a full year without access to the facilities has proven to have been problematic, and we are very grateful that all clubs and associations have been very understanding throughout all the speculation that has circulated around this development.
Availability
South Hunsley has a stated ambition to become a genuine extended school providing a range of facilities and services to the wider community above and beyond the core curriculum and as such we are committed to providing services and facilities for the wider community seven days a week.
All of the new and improved fitness facilities will be available for public use from 7am through to 10pm Monday to Thursday and from 7am to 9pm on Friday, 7am to 5pm on Saturday and 8am to 5pm on Sunday.
Clearly some fitness facilities such as the sports hall and the pool will be used excessively by the PE Department during the school day. However the Fitness Suite is open all day every day and a range of exercise classes are available in the Dance Studio.
