The new Gym equipment was installed on 27th April and is now ready for use.
All treadmills and four of our upright bikes have been replaced with those with Fast Track devices and visual touch screens - this allows the user to modify settings with a simple touch of the finger. You can watch TV, listen to your Ipod or play games on screen!
We have installed two Vario's; the latest piece in the cardio line, which is innovative for the variety of exercises that can be performed with it's enjoyable movement and it's total adaptability to the user's stride! Vario provides a unique cardiovascular workout by offering the user the opportunity to determine the movement, and the stride length & shape; from a vertical step to a simple walk, to a long stride with the feel & freedom of running.
And finally...we now have two fixed wheel spin bikes in the Fitness Suite - these are the indoor evolution of professional Italian road bikes and give a more realistic biking workout!
