Fitness Classes
Fitness classes are available to members as part of their membership, and to the community at a cost of £4.50 per class. Please book a week in advance to avoid disappointment. To view our current Class timetable please click here.
Pilates
Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere whilst working on core stability muscle groups. Improves posture, balance and strength. This class is not suitable for pregnant ladies.
Yoga
Relax mind and body with a Hatha-based yoga class focussing on flexibility, balance and relaxation.
Fitness Yoga
A quick-paced yoga class, focussing on strength and balance, core conditioning and flexibility. This class is not suitable for pregnant ladies.
Legs, Bums and Tums
After a short calorie burning warm-up, a combination of easy to follow exercises will focus on endurance for your key muscles, including arms, legs, stomach... not forgetting your bum!
Stability Ball
Tone your whole body with this low impact class. A mixture of strength training and core stability, it improves balance, tones, and improves abdominal and back strength.
Zumba
The Latin-inspired, easy to follow, calorie burning, dance fitness party! Aerobic class, feel the music and let loose! This class is not suitable for pregnant ladies.
Zumba Toning
An exciting Latin-inspired, dance and tone programme. This class takes Zumba to the next level. Zumba Toning is an innovative muscle training class with the addition of light weight toning sticks (we provide the 2 1/2 lb sand filled sticks). In a relatively short period of time this challenging workout helps build coordination and muscle endurance. This class is not suitable for pregnant ladies.
X-Biking
The thrill of mountain biking brought inside. A low inpact, high calorie burning, high cardiovascular workout! Suitable for all abilities, however very de-conditioned people would be better working up to this class.
Boxercise
Up for a challenge? Whatever your ability, this class is suitable for you. It is designed to put you through your paces, with a number of exercise stations, varied equipment and stacks of enthusiasm from our Instructor! A circuit-style class with boxing movements.
Studio Resistance
A group based programme, incorporating resistance training free-weight exercises using barbells and dumbbells to help tone muscles and give the body better shape and strength.
Circuit Training
Designed to put you through your paces with a number of excercise stations in the Sports Hall. Uses varied equipment and stacks of motivation from our Instructor! Suitable for all abilities.
Outdoor Bootcamp
Motivational fitness class which will drive up your fitness. It uses fun, fuctional exercises which can be adapted for most fitness levels. As with most classes, bring a partner amd make it more fun! Expect to get dirty and sweaty! Exercises for all levels of fitness. Designed to push and motivate!
